June Updates & SWCL

Well, June is just three days away. And you know what that means....more One-Page Adventures!! For the month of June I hope to produce two One-Page Adventures. One for my once-a-month schedule and a bonus one for Free RPG Day (June 17th). By the way, what are your plans for Free RPG Day?

Also, today I received the Beta PDF of Swords & Wizardry Continual Light (SWCL) from +Erik Tenkar. And it is looking great! I really can't wait for the finished product. The optional classes are worked really well and kept true to the light format. Also I am a fan of how the monsters are worked with the special trait tags. It helps with keeping everything light and easy. Plus, this version of the Dragon is great! But my favorite thing in SWCL is how treasure and magical items are rewarded. I hope that once this is released that someone creative will create a table that could be used for this in a DM screen. I already have an idea how to create it but at the same time I just don't want to do it ;)

Free RPG Day & Ideas

Saturday June 17 is Free RPG Day and with that I am thinking of creating two One-Page Adventures for June. One to be released on Friday June 16 just before Free RPG Day and the other one whenever.

I do have some ideas in my head for what I am wanting to work on next. One involving some extremely cold conditions and another one a masquerade. But I won't start working on them until June. I could start working on them now but I know me. If I work on these too much I will just get burned out. So I will only be working on these during the Month that they are due.

The Forsaken Tree of the Wretched

It is finally here! May's One-Page Adventure!
The Forsaken Tree of the Wretched is an adventure that takes characters into a twisted and corrupted tree that is home of a nature-necromancer, Fahn'kel the Wretched. The tree is full of abominations made of the dead and plants. There are also deadly plants throughout the tree. The inspiration for Fahn'kel came from the artwork of Jeremy Hart. Which is included in this adventure! I was going through his work and I saw that image and I knew exactly what kind of NPC he would be.

Shout-Outs & Updates

Well, I'm currently working on the one-page adventure for May. I am going slow and taking my time on it. I have plenty of ideas for it just need to flesh it out and make it fit on a single page. My PC crapped out on me so I am currently working on the Pages Apple app via my Chromebook. I already found the artwork I will be using for this adventure (which was the inspiration). I will be contacting the artist this week to know what all is required of me to use their artwork.
